U.S. Citizen Services

Updated: December 03, 2021

Starting December 6th, all air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show negative COVID-19 test taken no more than one (1) calendar day before travel to the United States.

Airlines must confirm the negative test result or proof of recovery for all passengers two years of age and over prior to boarding. Airlines must deny boarding of passengers who do not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery.

Exemptions will be considered on an extremely limited basis. Please visit the CDC webpages for more information about exemptions and the requirement for proof of negative COVID-19 test or recovery from COVID-19 for all air passengers arriving in the United States.
