USAID’s Office of HIV/AIDS & the Bureau for Resilience & Food Security Private Sector Engagement for Youth Employment Request for Information

USAID’s Office of HIV/AIDS (OHA) and Bureau for Resilience and Food Security (RFS) are pleased to announce the release of the Youth Employment Request for Information (RFI).

This is the first collaboration of its kind working across USAID to mobilize the private sector on behalf of employment opportunities for youth at higher risk of HIV.

This RFI is an invitation to Private Sector businesses to engage with USAID to create pathways to wage employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) who participate in the Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe (DREAMS) program.

USAID is the largest implementer of DREAMS and is increasing its focus on economic strengthening.

Partnerships may include internship, entrepreneurship or wage employment opportunities.

Companies may work in one of the 16 DREAMS countries or across multiple countries and may include non-traditional industries for female employment.

USAID has a strong belief in the capacity and soft skills DREAMS AGYW obtain through participation in our program; we are now looking for partners to help them go the next mile.

The most promising expressions of interest will be linked to country Missions for further exploration.

Additional information about DREAMS, the RFI and application process can be found at the link below. Responses are due by December 15th.
