The Interview

After you have completed the steps on the Immigrant Visa Process on, including paying the necessary fees and submitting the required immigrant visa application form (DS-260), Affidavit of Support, and supporting documents to the National Visa Center (NVC), they will review your file for completeness. Once your case becomes qualified for an interview, NVC will work with us to schedule an interview appointment for you.

The U.S. Embassy Windhoek does not process immigrant visas for Namibian citizens. These immigrant visas are handled by the U.S. Consulate General in Johannesburg.

U.S. Diversity Visa Program (DV-2017 Lottery)

The Diversity Visa Program (DV-2017) is now closed. Online registration for the DV 2017 Program began on Thursday, October 1, 2015 and concluded on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
